The horror game genre continues to captivate Android users, and the second quarter of 2024 was no exception. Sensor Tower's latest data provides an insight into how the top five horror games performed in the US during this period.

Identity V experienced a peak in downloads at 312K in late April, while weekly active users reached a high of 3.3M in the same month. The game's revenue showed a significant spike in mid-May, hitting 906K USD.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, another popular title, showed a strong downloads trend, with numbers reaching 319K by the end of June. The game's weekly active users also saw an upward trend, culminating at 27.8M in the last week of June.

Moving on to Mystery Matters, the game kicked off the quarter with 663K downloads in the first week of April, but downloads gradually declined to 48K by the end of June. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively steady, with a slight increase to 2.3M by the quarter's close.

Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun saw a sharp decrease in downloads after May, dropping to zero, which could be attributed to various market factors. However, the game maintained a revenue stream throughout the quarter, ending with 459K USD in the last week of June.

Lastly, Myths of Moonrise showed modest download figures, hovering around the 20s-30K range throughout the quarter. The weekly active users saw a slight decline, ending the quarter with 153K.
